The newly appointed Loudon County School Board Budget
Committee held their first meeting Monday night. The committee had a
number of budget amendments to consider for recommendation to the full
board.
Another item on their agenda was consideration of the
controversial request by the Loudon County Education Foundation for a
$16,000 donation to the organization. The committee voted unanimously
not to recommend the donation to the foundation.
The full board will meet for their monthly workshop
Thursday 6:30 pm at the old vocational school on Harrison Road.
