No Building Permits

At last Monday's meeting, county commissioners unanimously passed a resolution that would prohibit the county planning office from issuing building permits for any property, owned by or invested in by, non-US citizens from countries deemed hostile to the United States.

The vote made that policy effective immediately.

It's vital that the commission take any and all steps necessary to always protect the residents of Loudon County.

Below is that resolution.

Where as, instability across the world continues to escalate and many countries around the world have become hostile to the United States, and

Where as, it is the duty and responsibility of the Loudon County commissioners to serve and protect the citizens and sovereignty of Loudon County, and

Where as, non US citizens from countries hostile to the United States have began buying and investing in land and property in Tennessee and Loudon County,

Now therefore, let it be resolved that the Loudon County Planning Zoning and Codes Department shall be prohibited from issuing building permits for any property, owned by or invested in by, non-US citizens from countries deemed hostile to the United States.
