A Lenoir City man was arrested on charges of kidnapping, rape, and assault Thursday afternoon.
Jason Kenneth Rogers, 36, Lenoir City, was being held on charges of
aggravated assault, aggravated rape, and especially aggravated
kidnapping for the incident, which occurred after work hours at the
News-Herald office building.
The victim's name is being withheld.
The incident occurred when Rogers, an employee of the News-Herald,
allegedly forced the victim at knife point to enter the News-Herald
building Thursday evening.
"The victim did not consent to any of this except by the defendant
using the knife to force her to," according to the police.
