New City Attorney?

At this Monday's Lenoir City council meeting, mayor Tony Aikens, has said he would have a recommendation for a new city attorney for council to consider. At the last meeting, the council appointed current city attorney, Walter Johnson, as city judge when council member declined the appointment. No names have been released yet.

Now former city judge, Greg Harrison, would be qualified for the attorney position if he had any interest. He was actually the city attorney before he ran for city judge. The qualifications for city attorney do not require city residency,
