Scotty Newman has been saying for some time that he planned to seek the sheriff's position in the next election.  Robert Scott, Scotty, Newman posted his campaign sign on his Facebook page a few days ago. Looks like he's following through on his plan.

Scotty is currently in his third term on the Loudon County Board Of Education and was just elected as chairman of the board.

County wide elections are a lot of work. Starting early is probably a good idea.

It's never too early to start campaigning.
