It used to be one of the boy's bedrooms, but you know when the kids leave home, you turn their rooms into something else just in case they think about moving back in. The memorabilia room is the place everything nobody wants anymore, but you just can't bring yourself to throw away. Lots of family keepsakes and stuff like that.

One of the things I've collected over the years are hundreds of old news papers, magazines and printed material of all kinds. Dates range from the early 1900's to present including lots of WWII papers. I can go down to the memorabilia room and spend hours reading through the old papers. I especially enjoy reading the old local papers.

To be honest, I'd rather read old news than new news any time.
