|Newly elected President Trump campaigned on and is
now following through on his promises to cut taxes for the rich, middle
class, poor and businesses. He said he'd do it and he is doing it.
Meanwhile here in Tennessee, our Hillary loving, governor Haslam is doing everything in his power to raise taxes on the rich, middle class, poor and businesses in the form of a gas tax increase while the state has a nearly 2 billion dollar surplus. You have to give him credit for one thing, at least he wants to stick it to everybody.
And sadly, meanwhile here in Loudon County, at least some elected officials want to raise taxes on the rich, middle class, poor and businesses. This in the form of higher litigation taxes for everyone using the court system in Loudon County when there is absolutely no need for higher taxes.
I applaud the president for wanting to cut taxes but I stand at a loss to understand any elected official, state or local, who's first instinct is to raise taxes when it is unnecessary.
