McNabb Declines Judge Appointment
| It was high drama at Lenoir City's council meeting
Wednesday evening. The meeting had been recessed from Monday to allow
council member Robin McNabb time to consider she wanted to take the
judge appointment. Ms. McNabb had sent a letter to city attorney describing what she would need to consider the appointment. Ultimately, the council voted to appoint city attorney, Walter Johnson, to the judge seat until August 2026. Below is a link to the meeting. Thirty minutes long.
