Mayor Simpson
| For the first time since the November elections,
newly reelected and now vice mayor Eddie Simpson presided over a Lenoir
City council meeting. The uncharacteristically upbeat and light
hearted meeting went smoothly and quickly. Mayor Brookshire and a host of other local officials from across the country were in Washington working to get some Obama bucks. Unfortunately it is expected that Brookshire will be back for the next meeting. |
