Man in court for charges in 2005 murder
KNOXVILLE
(WATE) - The man accused in the 2005 death of his wife is back
in Tennessee.
Paul Knight is charged with the murder of his wife, Pamela Knight. She disappeared from their North Knoxville home in October
2005 and was never seen from again. Her remains were found in a wooded area of Loudon County last year.Paul Knight, 40, was later identified as a suspect and indicted by a Knox County Grand Jury. Until last week, Knight was incarcerated in a Pollock, La. prison on federal gun and stolen vehicle charges. On January 11, Knight was returned to Knoxville from a Beaumont, Texas federal prison where he had been transferred to due to a hurricane in Louisiana last fall. On Tuesday morning, Knight was arraigned on a second degree murder charge. His court date was set for May 7. |
