A Lenoir City man died Tuesday night in a
single-car collision along Broadway Street in
Lenoir City.
Jennifer Estes, Loudon County E-911 director,
said the call came in at 8:48 p.m., and
emergency personnel were on the scene within
three minutes.
The main thoroughfare through Lenoir City
was closed for two hours and was reopened by
10:30 p.m., White said.
Lenoir City police and fire departments
responded to the incident, along with
Priority Ambulance.
White said the wreck is still under
investigation pending test results from the
autopsy report. Officials have not
determined a cause of death.
Richard DeLoach, 55, Lenoir City, was traveling
west on Broadway in a Dodge truck when his
vehicle veered off the road and struck a
doctor’s office building, according to Lenoir
City Police Chief Don White.
