Man crashes into building

LENOIR CITY, Tenn. (WVLT) - A police chase Saturday
morning ended in Lenoir City after the suspect crashed into a
building.
According to Cpl. Cody Bengel with the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office, deputies tried to pull a car over off of Martel Road in Lenoir City at around 9:30 a.m. for driving erratically.
Bengel said the driver sped away and led authorities on a chase.
The chase continued onto
Broadway, and when the driver tried to turn down a side street,
Bengel said he crashed into the corner of a building and a
truck.
The suspect, who was not identified, was arrested and is facing several charges, including DUI and felony evading, according to Bengel.
No injuries were reported.
