Loudon sheriff arrests man in string of burglaries

LOUDON — A suspect in a rash of burglaries in Loudon and Roane counties has been arrested, Loudon County Sheriff Tim Guider announced today.

The arrest of Joe Michael Robison of Lenoir City concluded a three months investigation that included airplane surveillance.

Robison has been charged with four counts of theft, and is being held under bonds totaling $78,000.

Additional charges against Robison are pending, and another person may be arrested, Chief Deputy Tony Aikens said.

Aikens said more than $10,000 worth of stolen items have been recovered.
