Loudon Manager Search 9
| The Loudon City council monthly workshop will be held
tonight, 3/11, 6:30 pm at city hall. Last month, the council voted to
discuss the manager appointment. However, there doesn't seem to be
anything on the agenda pertaining to the manager search.
Last month, council voted to hold a joint meeting with LUB to discuss the manager search. LUB was to meet at 4:30, joint meeting at 5:30 then workshop at 6:30. It appears the voting portion of the meeting will be at the 5:30 joint meeting. The plan discussed last month was for the LUB board members and council members to appoint an interim manager and develop a path forward in the search process. That may include reopening the application process to all city and LUB employees. Without mayor Jeff Harris's decision to want the manager job, all the delay, conflict and politics could have been avoided. Below is a link to the workshop agenda. |
