Loudon Man arrested on sex exploitation charges

A Loudon County man was arrested by the Blount County Sheriff’s Office and booked into the Blount County Jail Saturday on three counts of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.

Lance Eugene Davis, 42, Loudon, is being held at the Blount County Adult Detention Facility on the charges in lieu of bonds totaling $225,000.

According to information from the Blount County Sheriff’s Office, Davis was the subject of a multi-week investigation conducted by the BCSO Criminal Investigation Division and HEAT (Hi-tech Evidence and Technology) Unit. The investigation reportedly culminated when BCSO deputies arrested Davis Saturday night at his home in Loudon County.
No information on the specific nature of Davis’ charges was available late Saturday.
Davis is scheduled to have a 9 a.m. Jan. 4 hearing in Blount County General Sessions Court on the three especially aggravated sexual exploitation charges.

According to information from the Sheriff’s Office, the BCSO Criminal Investigation Division and HEAT Unit are continuing the investigation into the case against Davis. Further charges against the man will be taken to the Blount County Grand Jury at a future date, according to a BCSO release.

LOUDON (WATE) -- A Loudon man was taken into custody Saturday following a lengthy investigation into possible sexual exploitation of a minor.

Blount County officials say Lance Eugene Davis, 42, was arrested Saturday night at his home on three counts of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.

According to the sheriff's office, an investigation into Davis's activities has been going on for the past several weeks.

Further details are not being released at this time, but officials say the investigation is continuing.

Davis is being held at the Blount County Adult Detention Facility on bonds totaling $225,000.

Davis is scheduled for a January 4 hearing at the Blount County General Sessions Court.

Additional charges against Davis are pending and will be taken to the Blount County Grand Jury at a future date.
