A
35-year-old Loudon man was charged Wednesday with several
counts, including solicitation of a minor, following an online
undercover operation by the Blount County Sheriff’s Office
Hi-Tech Evidence and Technology (HEAT) Unit, as part of ICAC
(Internet Crimes Against Children).
Jason Lee Ryan, 35, Loudon, was being held at the Blount County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $140,000 pending a 9 a.m. July 9 hearing in Blount County General Sessions Court. He is charged with solicitation of a minor, especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, and two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means. The arrest came following an undercover online investigation by the Sheriff’s Office HEAT Unit. The HEAT Unit, assisted by the Sheriff’s Office patrol unit, took Ryan into custody Monday afternoon at a Blount County business. |
