More School Numbers

Loudon County Schools are growing. In the last two years enrollment has increased by more than 15% at Loudon High and over 10% in Loudon Elementary.

The district has been able to accommodate the growth at Loudon Elementary since the 2014 building project accounted for this growth. By building the new Fort Loudoun Middle School, the district was able to combine the elementary and former middle school buildings together. Since that time Loudon Elementary has grown from 461 students to 665 students which is a 44% increase since the building project.

Loudon High received an additional wing of classes in 2017, but with expanding focus in Career and Technical Education classes and continued growth, there is a need to expand the CTE building increasing the capacity for automotive and welding classes while adding an electrical class. This CTE addition has already been designed and will become a part of a larger District project. Stay tuned for more...
