Having just moved to this area less than three weeks ago from Raleigh, N.C., I am visiting many surrounding areas to aid in the decision to purchase a home.
The stories in the Sept. 28 News Sentinel regarding Loudon County, the Greenback community and the Pilot Travel Center certainly rule out any consideration of that county.
I am appalled at their treatment of the school situation. The powers that be obviously do not want better conditions for their children, growth and new business in their county. All their negative attitudes will ruin any future considerations for new citizens and businesses.
The people of Greenback have my sympathy. Maybe they would like to join my search for a home elsewhere.
