Loudon County Beef Burger Day is FRIDAY, September 4  TODAY

The Loudon County Beef Burger Promotional Day is scheduled for Friday, September 4. Local beef producers and 4-H members will be grilling “Certified Angus Beef” burgers in the parking lot of the Lenoir City Food City.  The Loudon County Livestock Association members will fire up the grills at 11:00 AM and will cook burgers till around 5 PM.  Food City is donating the food and drinks for this grand occasion. The beef promotional day is designed to encourage consumers to eat more beef. Mont-Vue Farms, in Lenoir City,  is providing a live bull for a “Guess The Bull’s Weight Contest”. There is no charge for admission.  If you would like to learn more about the nutritional value of beef or maybe just enjoy a juicy burger, plan to join us on September 4.
