Loudon Co. business hires hundreds for new facility
LOUDON, Tenn. (WVLT) --
Morgan Olson hosted a hiring event Thursday. One applicant who
talked to Local 8 Newssays the process was a little intimidating,
but he's hopeful to get a job.
"Seeing this many people out here, you're nervous because you're not going to think there's this many people here. But when you come up you see 400 or 500 people interviewing also for the same job that you are. You do get the little nervous jitters, but things this morning are going pretty smooth right now," said Jason Norton, who applied for a job. The company is known around the world for making the box trucks you see bringing packages to your home. It announced a new manufacturing facility in Loudon County just a few weeks ago.
