Loudon Annexation 10

Fortunately, the matter of the annexation on Dry Valley Road in Loudon is not on the city workshop agenda. I'm sure those involved are still planning their strategies and working to destroy yet another community.

Not a single resident wants a giant industrial development in their neighborhood. The county commission has already sent a formal letter in opposition to the annexation and rezone and have promised the county residents in the area that we will take any actions available to us to oppose the annexation.

Yet, Loudon City mayor, realtor, city manager, Jeff Harris, AKA, Little Tony, seems determined to shove an industrial complex down the throat of everyone involved just because an out of town developer wants it. Why is that? Why are Big Tony and Little Tony more devoted to developers than they are to the residents who live here? It's a question that just never seems to get answered.

It never ceases to amaze me that local officials, who were elected by the good citizens of our cities and county, will work so hard against the residents of a community on behalf of people, who could care less about the community.

Voters had better start paying attention to who they put in office.
