As I turned onto my street one day last week, I noticed small yellow tubes in the yards and driveways all along the street. There were three in my yard. I gathered up the little yellow tubes from my yard only to find they were rolled up fliers advertising a local cash advance business.

I have no idea how many neighborhoods the fliers were thrown out in but quit frankly this seems more like a case of mass littering than advertising.  

Everyone knows there's a cost of being in business. One of those costs is advertising. Throwing ad filers out in folks yards doesn't seem to me like the best way to promote ones business. It's hard enough to keep the trash picked up on your property without some business adding to the problem.

Maybe a ticket for littering might help make the point.
