Lenoir City man arrested after trailers, mowers stolen
LENOIR CITY - The Loudon County Sheriff's Office
has arrested a man in connection with theft of several expensive
trailers and industrial mowers.
Daniel P. Langley, whose last known address was Lenoir City, was arrested Monday after being stopped in a red Ford Ranger pickup truck in Lenoir City. His truck matched surveillance photos taken during one of the thefts that showed a truck with a sticker on the back window and a spare tire on the driver's front. Investigators interviewed Langley along with Heather Stinnett. The investigation began a month ago when several people reported trailers and items on trailers - including zero turn lawn mowers - being stolen. Investigators have recovered thousands of dollars worth of stolen items. The investigation is ongoing, though, and other items are still being recovered. |
