Lenoir City boy holds lemonade stand to raise money for cancer research

His goal is to reach the $10,000 mark

LENOIR CITY, Tenn, (WATE) - A Lenoir City boy is holding his sixth-annual lemonade stand Friday at the Loudon County Sheriff's Office to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.

Drew Myers, 11, has raised $7,763 since starting his lemonade stand at age 6. He hopes to reach his goal of $10,000 this year. That money will help fund over one month of childhood cancer research.

Drew’s stand will be set up in the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office parking lot. Besides serving lemonade, deputies will bring out their squad cars for children to check out.
