LENOIR CITY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Two area churches joined together Saturday to host a mobile food pantry in Lenoir City.

Central United Methodist Church along with First Farragut United Methodist Church, partnered for the annual giveaway. All local residents who needed assistance were ask to come out.

A semi-tractor trailer was loaded up with food and began distributing at 9:00 AM until all food was handed out.

With many children already back in school, both churches also included in the giveaway school supplies, coats and children's clothing.
