LC Hires New Codes Officer

| A week after it was
announced in the a Monroe County
news paper, Lenoir City Council voted to hire new codes enforcement
officer, Leslie Johnson. Johnson formerly Sweetwater Code
Enforcement/Planning and Development Officer, resigned her position to
take the LC post.
Several councilmen spoke highly of Ms. Johnson's qualifications. Council voted unanimously to hire her. Newly appointed councilman, Bobby Johnson, noted Ms. Johnson was not a relative of his which brought a laugh from the other members of council. |
