According to several city councilmen, Lenoir City codes enforcement officer, Deann Bogus has submitted her resignation. Ms. Bogus has been codes enforcement officer for just under two years. Ms. Bogus has reportedly taken a position in the private sector. 

A public notice in the Daily Edition reports that the Lenoir City Personnel Committee will be meeting on December 31st at 10:30 to discuss the vacancy.
