Man found with 40 grams of pot, paraphernalia
A teen is being held at Loudon County Jail for possessing
more than 40 grams of marijuana that officers found while
serving an active warrant.
Lenoir City Police Inv. Brad Brown wrote in his report that
while placing Rashondey Quintez Dawson, 19, of Lenoir City,
under arrest April 16, he could see in plain view drug
paraphernalia in the home, which allegedly belonged to the
teen. Brown added that the home had a smell of burnt
marijuana.
“A search of the room identified to be Dawson’s bedroom
revealed two clear plastic Ziplock bags of a green leafy
plant material suspected to be marijuana weighing
approximately 15.7 grams and 25.2 grams,” Brown said. “A
set of digital weighing scales was also found along with
$1,082 in small U.S. bills.”
Dawson was charged with manufacture/sell/possession of a
Schedule VI substance, manufacture/sell/delivery/resale
of a Schedule VI substance and violation of probation
and held on $17,000 bond.
Two jailed for counterfeit bills
A Cosby pair are being held at Loudon County Jail after
using counterfeit money at a Lenoir City retail store.
LCPD Det. Kevin Condee wrote in his report that Chasity
Lynn Evans and Mark Anthony Evans passed counterfeit
$100 bills on multiple occasions.
“On two different occasions, (Chasity) Evans purchased
merchandise using counterfeit $100 bills and
subsequently received change for the difference,” Condee
said. “Evans’ codefendant Mark Evans stated to affiant
that he and the defendant knew the money was counterfeit
and that they were trying to get rid of it.”
Chasity Lynn Evans, 19, Cosby, was charged with two
counts of criminal simulation and held on $20,000 bond.
Mark Anthony Evans, 34, Cosby, was charged with four
counts of criminal simulation and held on $40,000 bond.
April 16
- Kayla Hope Abercrombie, 27, Lenoir City, was charged
with theft under $500 and released on $2,000 bond. LCPD
Officer Nick Halsey wrote in his report that Abercrombie
was seen at a Lenoir City retail store concealing
merchandise without paying for the items, which totaled
over $100.
- Darryl Lee Foley, 36, Kingston, was charged with
violation of probation and released on $2,000 bond.
- Erskine Andy Hunt, 35, Sweetwater, was charged with
theft of property-$1,000-$10,000 and released on $3,000
bond.
- Jason Roberts, 27, Lenoir City, was charged with
theft up to $500/forgery and theft of property
$500-$1,000 forgery and released on $6,000 bond.
- Michael Damon Watkins, 35, homeless, was charged with public intoxication and held on $283 bond. Responding to a traffic crash on Ashe Avenue, LCPD Officer Brandon Gentry wrote in his report that Watkins was standing in the roadway and had an odor of an alcoholic beverage and was unsteady on his feet.
April 17
- Edward Charles Baker, 49, Loudon, was charged with
driving under the influence, driving on a
revoked/suspended license and simple possession/casual
exchange and held on $5,000 bond. Tennessee Highway
Patrol Trooper Eric Miller wrote in his report that
Baker had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and had
in his right front pocket a marijuana cigarette. Baker
could not perform field sobriety tasks as instructed.
- Christopher Steven Dailey, 32, Loudon, was charged
with driving on a revoked/suspended license and released
on $1,000 bond.
- Antwan Maleek Kennedy, 33, Etowah, was charged with
possession of drug paraphernalia and released on $2,000
bond.
- Michael Lee Lane, 34, Knoxville, was charged with
two counts of violation of probation and held without
bond.
- Samuel Arble McCall, 34, Greenback, was charged with
driving on a revoked/suspended license and released on
$1,000 bond. Stopping a vehicle for the occupants not
wearing seat belts, Loudon County Sheriff’s Office
Deputy Cody Fritts wrote in his report that the driver
had a revoked license. “After taking Mr. McCall into
custody a small blue pill bottle was found in his right
jean pocket. One pill was white with the imprint G76
identified as Oxymorphone,” Fritts said. “The other
pills was a blue round pill with the imprint 224
identified as Oxycodone.”
- Nicolas Brandon Turner, 26, homeless, was charged
with public intoxication and held on $283 bond.
Dispatched to a residence in reference to a suspicious
person, LCPD Officer Bruce Padgett wrote in his report
that Turner had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage,
was unsteady on his feet and had slurred speech.
- Lisa Jane Ward, 38, Lenoir City, was charged with
violation of probation on theft and released on $1,000
bond.
- Florence Gail Williams, 53, Loudon, was charged with
driving under the influence and released on $1,000 bond.
LCSO Deputy Ben Everett wrote in his report that
Williams had slurred speech and told the deputy that she
had taken her morning medication but could not remember
what she had taken. Williams performed poorly on field
sobriety tasks.
- Brian Keith Wolfenbarger, 54, Kingston, was charged with simple possession/casual exchange and possession of drug paraphernalia and released on $5,000 bond. LCSO Deputy Kenny Palmer wrote in his report that during a search of Wolfenbarger’s vehicle, he found several containers of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana. “While searching Mr. Wolfenbarger I located a pipe commonly used for smoking marijuana inside his shirt pocket,” Palmer said. “The total weight of the marijuana seized was approximately 13 grams.”
April 18
- Michael Raymond Alexander, 27, Madisonville, was
charged with driving on a revoked license and released
on $1,500 bond.
- Frederick Phillip Cope, 51, Knoxville, was charged
with public intoxication and released on $1,000 bond.
LCSO Deputy Charlie Huskin wrote in his report that he
talked with a man who alleged that Cope, who had been
dropped off at a Hickory Creek Road residence three
hours prior, was drunk and being belligerent. “Mr. Cope
broke (the man’s) glasses during this three-hour period.
(The man) stated that he gave Mr. Cope several
opportunities to call someone to come pick him up but
was unable to get a valid phone number from him,” Huskin
said.
- Michael Lance Courtney, 45, Lenoir City, was charged
with driving under the influence and violation of
implied consent and released on $2,000 bond. Stopping a
motorcycle for speeding 60 mph in a 35 mph zone, LCSO
Deputy Kenny Palmer wrote in his report that the driver,
Courtney, had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage,
performed poorly on field sobriety tasks and refused
implied consent. “Mr. Courtney was also cited for
speeding and no insurance,” Palmer said.
- Jonah Ryan Jillson, 28, Lenoir City, was charged
with driving on a revoked/suspended license and released
on $1,000 bond. Stopping a vehicle for merging into
traffic without yielding to other vehicles on the
roadway, Loudon Police Officer Brandon Nix wrote in his
report that Jillson had a revoked license.
- Jackie Eugene Lee, 53, Lenoir City, was charged with
public intoxication and held on $1,000 bond. Dispatched
to the Ferry Street boat dock in reference to a possible
intoxicated individual, LPD Officer Brandon Nix wrote in
his report that Lee had a strong odor of an alcoholic
beverage, stated to the officer that he had drank
several 24-ounce beers, had slurred speech, bloodshot
eyes and had trouble standing.
- James Edward Mcwilliams, 56, Lenoir City, was
charged with simple possession and driving on a revoked
license and released on $2,000 bond. Stopping a driver
for not wearing a seat belt, LCSO Deputy Cody Fritts
wrote in his report that Mcwilliams had a revoked
driver’s license and a bag of a green, leafy substance
believed to be marijuana under his seat and another bag
in the ash tray. “Mr. Mcwilliams also had a marijuana
pipe in the floorboard of his truck. After Mr.
Mcwilliams was placed under arrest another bag of
marijuana was found in his left pocket,” Fritts said.
- Brandy Leigh Montoya, 32, Arden, N.C., was charged
with driving under the influence-first offense and
released on $3,000 bond. Dispatched to a call of a
domestic incident on Interstate 40 where a male had
grabbed a female by the hair at a gas station and threw
her into the vehicle, THP Trooper Eric Miller wrote in
his report that the female was driving the vehicle and
struck a truck as it fled the scene. The vehicle was
later stopped on Interstate 40 and both occupants told
law enforcement that no fight had ensued from their
argument, Miller said. The trooper further said that the
female driver, Montoya, showed signs of impairment and
performed poorly on field sobriety tasks.
- Kendra Daye Sellers, 25, Walland, was charged with
driving on a revoked/suspended license and released on
$1,000 bond.
- Joshua Adam Young, 27, Greenback, was charged with driving under the influence and released on $2,000 bond. Dispatched to a call of a reckless driver on Interstate 75 traveling southbound at speeds between 30 and 60 mph, LCSO Deputy Brandon Burley wrote in his report that Young had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage, red, watery eyes and had difficulty maintaining a conversation. Young performed poorly on field sobriety tasks.
April 19
- James Ryan Ericson, 30, Lenoir City, was charged
with driving on a revoked/suspended license and held
without bond. Stopping a vehicle on Highway 11 that had
a headlight out, LCSO Deputy Billy Lewis wrote in his
report that the driver, Ericson, had a suspended
license. “James had a copy of a citation in his
possession from Lenoir City Police Department for
driving on a suspended driver’s license,” Lewis said.
- Brandy Michelle Hampton, 28, Harriman, was charged
with violation of probation on DUI and released without
bond.
- Zachary Dennis Hearon, 18, Ten Mile, was charged
with evading arrest, driving on a suspended license and
two counts of assisting other agency-warrants and held
on $12,000 bond. LCSO Deputy Cody Fritts wrote in his
report that Hearon had a warrant for his arrest out of
Knox County for theft and another out of Anderson County
for violation of pre-trial release. In a separate
report, LPD Officer Josh Workman wrote that Hearon, who
had a suspended license, was stopped for speeding on
Highway 72 but sped off during the traffic stop.
- Richard Gordon McIntosh, 34, homeless, was charged
with domestic assault, manufacture/sell/possession of a
controlled substance and possession of drug
paraphernalia and released on $8,000 bond. Dispatched to
a possible domestic incident at a motel in Loudon, LPD
Officer Marty Ward found a man involved in the argument
walking down the street. “... Mr. McIntosh advised me he
had a small bag of weed in his right front pocket in the
shorts he was wearing under the long pants he had on.
Mr. McIntosh also had a marijuana pipe in the same
pocket,” Ward said.
- Natasha Lynn Ramsey, 22, Vonore, was charged with
possession of a handgun while under the influence and
public intoxication and released on $3,000 bond.
- Rachel Jean Webb, 39, Lenoir City, was charged with theft of property and released on $5,000 bond.
April 20
- Christopher Dewayne Johnson, 21, Loudon, was charged
with criminal court capias-theft of property and forgery
and held on $10,000 bond.
Knoxville woman jailed for shoplifting, found with pills
A 51-year-old Knoxville woman is facing multiple charges after
she was initially found by police shoplifting from a Lenoir City
retail store.
The woman is now facing theft charges and drug possession
charges after law enforcement found multiple prescription pills
on her.
Lenoir City Police Officer Brandon Gentry wrote in his
report that Nena Jo Osornio was arrested for theft at a
Lenoir City retail store and was found with several pills.
“Upon arresting her I found three Suboxone strips, four
Vyvanse pills and two Zolpidem pills,” Gentry said. “Ms.
Osornio could not provide a prescription for any of those
medications.”
Osornio was charged with theft under $500, two counts of
simple possession of a Schedule II substance and simple
possession of a Schedule IV substance and held without bond.
April 20
- Lewis James Brewster, 74, Lenoir City, was charged with
aggravated assault and domestic assault and released on
$6,000 bond.
- Thomas Austin Childress, 18, Lenoir City, was charged with domestic assault and false imprisonment and released on $2,000 bond.
- Charles Derek Dawson, 34, Loudon, was charged with
assisting other agency and released without bond. Stopping a
vehicle for failing to maintain its lane on Interstate 75,
Loudon County Sheriff’s Office Cpl. Brandon Dixon wrote in
his report that the driver, Dawson, had a revoked license
and a warrant out of Washington County.
- Christopher Dewayne Johnson, 21, Loudon, was charged
with criminal court capias-theft of property and forgery and
held on $10,000 bond.
- Stefanie Leeann Reagan, 38, Kingston, was charged with five counts of theft of property out of a Loudon County grand jury and held on $9,000 bond.
April 21
- Brady Lee Ghorley, 26, Tellico Plains, was charged with
a Monroe County warrant and held without bond.
- James Scott Huff, 51, Loudon, was charged with failure
to appear on theft up to $500 and criminal trespassing and
held without bond.
- Mark Allen McCullough, 29, Walland, was charged with
violation of probation and released without bond.
- Tommy Heath Richardson, 36, Lenoir City, was charged
with driving under the influence and held on $3,000 bond.
Dispatched to a gas station in reference to an intoxicated
man, LCPD Officer Brandon Gentry wrote in his report that
the man was identified as Richardson, who allegedly had
slurred speech, droopy eyes and performed poorly on field
sobriety tasks.
- Earl Ray Tinnel III, 37, Sweetwater, was charged with
contempt of court and held without bond.
- Jason Ray West, 34, Philadelphia, was charged with theft-$1,000-$10,000 and held on $9,000 bond.
April 22
- Kaylee Ann Glisson, 28, Lenoir City, was charged with
driving under the influence and violation of implied consent
and released on $2,500 bond. Dispatched to Williams Ferry
Road in reference to a wreck in which a vehicle had flipped
onto its side, LCSO Deputy Ben Everett wrote in his report
that the driver, Glisson, had a strong odor of an alcoholic
beverage, and she performed poorly on field sobriety tasks.
“Ms. Glisson was asked to lift her head up and a white
powdery substance was in her nose,” Everett said. “Ms.
Glisson did state that she had snorted some clonopin.”
- Krystal Mae/Lena Hixson, 28, Lenoir City, was charged
with driving on a revoked/suspended license and five counts
of possession of legend drugs and released on $1,500 bond.
- Jason Albert Lewis, 28, Oliver Springs, was charged with
theft of property and released on $2,000 bond. LCPD Officer
Christian Dragon wrote in his report that Lewis was observed
taking more than $100 worth of merchandise from a Lenoir
City retail store without paying for the items.
- Shaunette Delynn Moore, 28, Philadelphia, was charged
with an attachment-juvenile court and released on $500 bond.
- Edward Norman Olsen, 22, Lenoir City, was charged with
driving under the influence, driving on a revoked/suspended
license and cite-in violation of implied consent and
released on $3,000 bond. LCSO Deputy Craig Brewer wrote in
his report that Olsen had a strong odor of an alcoholic
beverage. Olsen also had a suspended license and performed
poorly on field sobriety tasks, Brewer said. “On searching
the vehicle after a (sic) alert from Sgt. Michael Watkins K9
partner found a half full Corona beer,” Brewer said.
- Jeremy Dewayne Pruitt, 29, Maryville, was charged with
assault and domestic assault and released on $3,000 bond.
- Nicholas Joseph Rokisky, 21, Lenoir City, was charged
with Schedule II drug violations and driving under the
influence and released on $5,000 bond.
- Shane Edward Snyder, 31, Loudon, was charged with
driving on a revoked/suspended license and held on $2,000
bond. LCSO Deputy Kevin Dailey wrote in his report that
Snyder had a revoked license for driving under the
influence.
- Shannon Kent Taylor, 35, Caryville, was charged with driving under the influence and held on $2,000 bond.
April 23
- Amanda Demille Lee, 25, Oak Ridge, was charged with
driving under the influence and released on $2,500 bond.
Responding to a wreck on Interstate 75 southbound, LCSO
Deputy Billy Lewis talked with the driver, Lee, who said
that she had a beer at a bar in Knoxville and had been
taking phentramine. Lee performed poorly on field sobriety
tasks.
- Jessica Nicole Sanchez, 27, Sweetwater, was charged with
driving on a revoked/suspended license and held on $4,000
bond.
- Ricky Shea Smith, 52, Lenoir City, was charged with violation of sex offender registry and held on $3,000 bond.
