Knoxville man
faces drug, paraphernalia charges
A Knoxville man is facing drug and drug paraphernalia charges after
police discovered marijuana, a pipe commonly used to smoke marijuana
and a grinder during a traffic stop for speeding.
Observing a white Dodge Stratus traveling south on Hickory Creek Road at 51 mph in a 35 mph zone, Loudon County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Kenny Palmer stopped the vehicle on Highway 70 west at U.S. Highway 321.
The driver, Dustin Hatley, 23, told Palmer his window would not
roll down. Hatley opened the vehicle door and made visible a
pipe commonly used for smoking marijuana, Palmer wrote. After
asking Hatley if anything else was illegal inside the vehicle,
Hatley at first said no but then told Palmer there was a
marijuana grinder and a baggy of marijuana in the center
console.
Hatley was charged with simple possession/casual exchange and
possession of drug paraphernalia and released on $4,000 bond.
Oct. 22
• Karen Clementine Davis, 43, Lenoir City, was charged with
driving on a revoked/suspended license and released on $1,000
bond.
• Kassie Michelle Littleton, 33, Loudon, was charged with
possession of legend drugs, possession of a Schedule IV drug,
simple possession/casual exchange and driving under the
influence and was released on $15,000 bond.
• Traci Marie Littleton, 21, Lenoir City, was charged with
driving under the influence by consent and released on $2,000
bond.
• Stephen Alexander Maher, 33, Powell, was charged with
violation of order of protection/restraint and held on $2,000
bond.
• Richard Lee Rush, 29, Chattanooga, was charged with assisting
other agency, criminal impersonation,
manufacture/sell/possession of controlled substance, possession
of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm, simple
possession/casual exchange and possession of burglary tools and
held on $39,500 bond.
Oct. 23
• Jessica Lynn Majors, 24, Tuscaloosa, Ala., was charged with
driving under the influence and released on $4,000 bond.
• Patrick William Rowe, 32, Maynardville, was charged with
reckless driving, simple possession/casual exchange, driving on
a revoked/suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia
and held on $10,000 bond.
• Amanda Jamerson Steele, 35, Sweetwater, was charged with
simple possession/casual exchange and possession of drug
paraphernalia and held on $4,000 bond. Dispatched to Oakland
Road for a report of a female throwing things at passing cars
and “talking out of her head,” LCSO Deputy Cody Fritts
identified the female as Steele. According to the report, Steele
was “talking really fast and saying random things.” After asking
Steele if she had taken anything illegal, Steele handed Fritts a
cigarette pack containing marijuana joints, aluminum foil with
burnt markings and a straw, Fritts wrote in his report. Steele
said she had taken meth/crank, according to the report.

• Joey Franklin Ferrell, 27, Loudon, was charged with violation
of probation and held without bond.
• Amy Kera Foxx, 33, Lenoir City, was charged with driving on a
revoked/suspended license and released on $1,500 bond.
Philadelphia man nets drug charges A Philadelphia man is facing drug charges after the vehicle he was riding in was pulled over for him not wearing his seat belt. Observing a black Chevrolet truck stopped in the middle of Jaynes Street that eventually turned onto Nelson Street, Loudon County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Cody Fritts noticed the passenger was not wearing a seat belt.
After stopping the vehicle, Fritts wrote in his report that
the passenger, William Floyd Lanter, appeared “shaky and
nervous.” After running Lanter's name through dispatch,
Fritts learning Lanter had two active warrants in Loudon and
Monroe counties. Fritts asked to search the vehicle, and the
driver consented.
While searching the vehicle, Fritts found in the passenger
seat cover a bag of crystal methamphetamine and under the
seat was a case containing two syringes, a hose clamp and a
burnt spoon, according to the report. Lanter said the
methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were his, and he was
taken into custody and transported to Loudon County Jail.
Lanter, 50, Philadelphia, was charged with manufacture,
sell, delivery and resale of a Schedule II drug, possession
of drug paraphernalia, assisting other agency and failure to
appear-general sessions and held on $21,500 bond.
Oct. 24
• Johnathan Ray Murphy, 30, homeless, was charged with
driving under the influence and driving on a suspended
driver’s license and held on $2,000 bond. Clocking a black
Chrysler PT Cruiser going 54 mph in a 35 mph zone, LCSO
Deputy JC Schultz attempted to make a traffic stop.
According to the report, the vehicle then sped off at a
“high rate of speed.” While Schultz and Cpl. Marty Branam
canvassed the area, Murphy was seen walking alongside the
roadway in the 3600 block of Town Creek Road. After Schultz
asked where PT Cruiser was, Murphy stated the vehicle had
been stolen. The vehicle was found nearby, according to the
report. Schultz wrote in his report that Murphy had a
“strong odor of alcohol” and bloodshot eyes. Murphy
performed poorly on field sobriety tests.
• Hilerio Saucedo, 45, Lenoir City, was charged with driving
under the influence and released on $2,000 bond.
• Kristi Ann Stutts, 21, Loudon, was charged with domestic
assault-misdemeanor and released on $1,500 bond.
• Christopher Allen Ward, 28, Lenoir City, was charged with
possession of drug paraphernalia and an outstanding warrant
for child support and held on $1,500 bond.
Oct. 25
• Alyson Blake Cummings, 28, Kingston, was charged with
failure to appear-general sessions and released on $1,000
bond.
• Jose Efrain Gonzalez, 24, Lenoir City, was charged with
public intoxication and held without bond. After observing a
white Ford Expedition stuck in the 3700 block of Browder
Hollow Road, LCSO Deputy Brian Smith noticed Gonzalez, who
said his friend had backed his truck into a ditch and then
left the scene. According to the arrest report, Gonzalez
admitted he had been drinking, and he did have a “strong
odor of alcohol coming from his person.” Gonzalez was “very
unsteady” while standing and walking, according to the
report.
• Priscilla Pamela White, 30, Kingston, was charged with
failure to appear on aggravated assault domestic violence
and failure to appear on violation of probation and held on
$2,000 bond.
Oct. 26
• Angela Fay Copeland, 37, Maryville, was charged with
public intoxication and held on $1,000 bond.
• Charles Buddy Bell, 45, Knoxville, was charged with
violation of probation and held without bond.
• Stephanie Estelle Brown, 25, Sweetwater, was charged with
failure to appear-general sessions and held without bond.
• Lesa Annette McCulloch, 52, Madisonville, was charged with
failure to appear and held without bond.
• Malcolm Blaine McKeag, 22, Lenoir City, was charged with
domestic assault-misdemeanor and held without bond.
Oct. 27
• Rebecca Ann Keener, 55, Lenoir City, was charged with
theft of property and released on $1,000 bond.
• Daniel Allen McCraw, 35, Loudon, was charged with driving
on a revoked/suspended license and held on $1,000 bond.
• Malcolm Blaine McKeag, was charged with domestic
assault-misdemeanor and released on $2,000 bond. Dispatched
to the call of a possible domestic violence incident on
Interstate 75 south, LCSO Deputy Jamie Ketner and another
officer talked with a woman who said her boyfriend, McKeag,
was chasing her on the interstate. According to the report,
she said McKeag attempted to run her off the road “several
times.” Ketner wrote in his report that McKeag’s girlfriend
was “visibly upset” and said she was “in fear for her life.”
Deputy Marty Branum found McKeag in the area of Highways 72
and 75, and McKeag said he was following her to get his
phone. The woman said she had driven off the road to avoid
being hit. McKeag was determined to be the primary aggressor
and was taken to Loudon County Jail.
• Steven Anthony Scott, 25, Loudon, was charged with arson,
aggravated criminal trespass, vandalism and theft of
property and held on $22,500 bond.
• Billy Franklin Walker, 63, Knoxville, was charged with
criminal trespass and held on $2,000 bond. Dispatched to the
800 block of Nelson Street for a call of an unwanted person
at a residence, LCSO Deputy Ronnie Reagan talked with a
person who told dispatch that Walker, a sex ofender, was at
the residence and was unwelcome. According to the report,
Reagan was advised by another officer that he had prior
contact with Walker and had advised him to not return to the
residence. Walker told the deputy he was homeless and was
taken into custody and transported to Loudon County Jail.
• Justin Thomas Wiles, 21, Loudon, was charged with
vandalism, criminal trespass, arson and theft of property
and held on $23,500 bond.
Oct. 28
• Alan Lynn Eldridge, 53, Loudon, was charged with driving
on a revoked/suspended license and leaving the scene of
accident with property damage and held on $3,000 bond.
Dispatched to Hotchkiss Valley Road for a call of a reckless
driver in a white and silver Chevrolet truck, LCSO Deputy
Brian Smith found the truck in a ditch close to Sugarlimb
Road. Eldridge told the deputy he had hit a mailbox and was
“looking for a place to turn around when he lost control of
his truck and ran into a ditch.” Elridge’s driver’s license
had been revoked for driving under the influence in 1997.
Oct. 29
• William Matthew Allison, 32, Lenoir City, was charged with
domestic assault-felony and held without bond.
• Autumn Cheyenn Strickland, 22, Loudon, was charged with
failure to appear-general sessions and released on $1,000
bond.
• Alecia Deanna Lawson, 25, Lenoir City, was charged with
violation of probation-theft over $500 and released on
$1,000 bond.
