Well, I've got most of my hay cut and put up. The days are getting shorter and that leaves me more time in the evenings with not much to do. So I've decided to bring the site back up. It may not be of the same intensity as before but we'll just see where things go.

Before I shut the web site, I had about three times the readership of the News Herald. I was sort of hoping that the News Herald might take the opportunity of my absence to become a real NEWS paper. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. In fact I think it got worse. I guess they didn't have anywhere to get their news while I was closed.

It's painfully obvious that there are no good sources of local news and the need is there. I'll try to get as much local news as I can and keep folks informed. I may even go back and visit a few stories that slipped by while the site was down.
