Kick Him Out?

According to her, Julia Hurley has sent a letter to the state republican party challenging William Jenkins' right to run against her.

A few years ago, when Ms. Hurley was a member of the state GOP party, new bylaws were adopted that put certain requirements on any candidate wishing to run for office as a republican. One of the new requirement states that any candidate who wishes to run as a republican must have voted in at least 3 of the last 4 state, republican primaries. There were two state primaries in 2020, one in 2018 and one in 2016. If a candidate doesn't met the 3 out of 4 requirement, that candidate can be challenged by a bona fide republican. Bona fide meaning, voted the 3 out of 4.

It is a fact that Mr. Jenkins has only voted in two of the four required primaries, but there are several other candidates who also do not meet the 3 out of 4 requirement even though they've all voted republican for many years. Here's the good part, Julia Hurley doesn't meet the 3 out of 4 requirement. You might remember back in 2020 when she had moved out of her elected district, she set out all three 2020 elections to keep from committing voter fraud.

Not for a minute do I believe that a three member, state GOP board, will try to remove any long time republican candidates from a ballot because they missed one too many elections. If that ever happens, that board should be removed.

Julia Hurley's hypocrisy knows no limits.  Again she just doesn't believe the rules apply to her.
