Joint Meeting Planned
| Even though Director of Schools, Wayne Honeycutt, had
presented the current building plan to commissioners back in February.
Then in May, commissioners voted to approve spending up to $1,000,000.00
to have the schematic drawings completed for the buildings, several
commissioners stated at a recent commission meeting that they were still
unsure what the board was proposing for the long awaited building
program.
So to help clear up any confusion, the school board is planning a joint meeting of the board and the county commission. The meeting is tentively set for January 25th, 6:00 pm in the Loudon High School auditorium. Architects will be on hand to present the particulars of the proposed building program. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. |
