Jailer gets DUI after driving 122 mph on I-75
WBIR -A Monroe County jailer lost
his job after being charged with
DUI.
According to the incident report, Cameron Michael Foister, 21, was pulled over after a Loudon County deputy with a radar gun clocked him going 122 mph on I-75S near the Sugar Limb exit. When the car stopped, the deputy noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle. Foister told the deputy he was leaving a Knoxville bar after drinking three shots and three beers. He then failed a field sobriety test. The deputy arrested Foister for DUI and possessing a weapon while under the influence. The sheriffs department confirmed to 10News that Foister is no longer employed with the department. |
