Inspector Interviews Continue

The first interviews for a potential new codes enforcement officer for Lenoir City began Monday. The names of the six candidates has not been released but during the interview time at city hall, a Loudon County Codes Enforcement truck was seen in the parking lot. While no one could confirm who the driver was or if they were interviewing for the job, it was considered unusual that a county employee would drive a county vehicle on county time to interview for a city job.

It has also been reported that a Knoxville codes officer has applied for the job.

Interviews are expected to continue over the next few days.
