I Was Thinking

If you've been watching any news at all lately, most likely you have seen all the protesting and unrest in Egypt. Hundreds of thousands of Egyptians have taken to the streets to demand that their president resign. They feel he has taken their country in the wrong direction and that he doesn't represent the values of the Egyptian people. Even our president, Barrack Obama, has come out in support of the protesters in calling for the resignation of the Egyptian president.

So here's what I was thinking. The number of protesters in Egypt is about one half of one percent of the population of that country. Using the same math, that would mean if one half of one percent of Americans demanded that our president resign because they feel he has taken our country in wrong direction and that he doesn't represent the values of the American people, then he should resign.

Simply using Obama's own logic, if about a million and a half people demanded his resignation the right thing for him to do would be to resign.

Do you think it would be possible to get a million and a half people demanding Obama resign. I'm betting , yes.

Just a thought.
