| I guess since Council wouldn't let Mayor Brookshire buy the old "A" Street apartments, he has decided to set his sights a little lower and just buy a house. At least that seems to be his plan. The special called meeting must have been so special that the Mayor didn't have time to make proper public notice. The public notice listed in the 1/23/07 Daily Edition gives pretty short notice to the public which I'm sure was just an oversight on the Mayor's part. Because I am a community minded person, I thought I would also post it on my web site to help the mayor get the word out. No thanks are necessary. |
