Every year about this time, county property owners get a gentle reminder of the cost of owning property, tax bills. I got mine. Did you get yours?

Fortunately, we have till the end of February next year to pay them. At least Loudon County can continue to be happy that we have one of the lowest property tax rates in the state coming in at number 13 out of 96 counties. Hopefully we can keep it that way.

I guess the old saying is correct. The only sure thing in life is death and taxes.
