Willett has been a news reporter/editor for many years, including time with the News Sentinel, Roane County News and most recently with the News Herald. His last day will be January 27.

Willett says he plans to enjoy his retirement, spending time with family and just taking it easy. He might even do a little free lancing.

We hate to see Hugh go, but want to congratulate him on his retirement and wish him the best.
