He's Gone
James Yoakley
James Yoakley, the now infamous Lenoir City High School English
teacher, has left the system. Mr. Yoakley, who was instrumental in two
major social controversy's at the high school has gone to the Knox
County school system. He will be the system wide high school literacy
coach for the Knox County. Yoakley was the catalyst behind the issue surrounding the schools refusal to publish a student's atheist's manifesto in the school paper. Incidentally, that was the most read story of 2012 on the News Sentinel's web site. Yoakley was also responsible for publishing an article of a student's homosexual lifestyle in the school yearbook that created yet another disruptive controversy for the school. I would personally like to wish Mr. Yoakley good luck and good riddance. |
