Looks like the long awaited improvements for the intersection at Ford Road, Hwy. 11 and Muddy Creek Road are really going to happen.

According to an email I received Friday from state representative's, Jimmy Matlock's office,

"This project is in the December 4, 2013 turn-in and the February 15, 2014 letting. Project is on schedule at this time."

What that means is that the project will go to bid February 15th. I think the bid process usually last about 30 days. This means we should see construction begin around the middle of March.

Let's keep our fingers crossed.
