Ground Beef For Sale!!! The production and sales of ‘UT Beef’ has been, and continues to be, a very rewarding learning experience for the East Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center (ETREC). Thank you for your continued support and interest in this product. Listed below are some updates about our sales: - We are now sold out of steaks, roasts, stew beef and ribs. However, we still have plenty of good ground beef and we are now offering VOLume discounts on the ground beef. VOLume Discounts: Regular Price (10 pkgs) (20 pkgs) Ground Beef Package - $4.25 / lb. $3.75 / lb. $3.50 / lb. Ground Beef Patties - $4.50 / lb. $3.75 / lb. $3.50 / lb. (prices subject to change) - ‘UT Beef’ will be available for sale on Thursdays, from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. (note new hours), at 3215 Alcoa Highway (look for signs). The Thursday sales will continue until Thursday, December 20, 2012, if supplies last. - ‘UT Beef’ was locally produced from the ETREC Angus herd. These cattle were grain-fed, and received no antibiotics or growth promotants. The beef was processed at a USDA-inspected establishment.
