Greenback Update

The organizers collecting furniture and clothing for the Greenback tornado victims are ready to open the doors to the warehouse for victims to start rebuilding their lives and homes.

Beginning at 8:30 AM on Thursday March 31, anyone affected by the tornado in either Loudon or Blount counties is welcome to come to the old Fort Loudon Electric Building in Greenback at the corner of Tarwater Road and Hwy 95 for household supplies and furniture.

Volunteers to sort donations are still greatly needed, but no additional donations of goods are needed at this time. Hours will be 8:30 – dark Thursday, Friday and Saturday and also next week. Monetary donations are still being accepted at People’s Bank, information below.
