Last Saturday, school board members and others were invited to take a tour of the building site to see the progress, and progress we saw. Steel, concrete, block and asphalt are starting to transform the old pasture field into what will shortly be one of the nicest schools in the Loudon County system.

It does appear that the move in date will be January 1st of 2014 instead of August 2013 but that's due to all the weather delays experienced last fall at the beginning of the project. But the wait will be well worth it.

The new Loudon Middle School isn't quit as far along as the Greenback school but it's still on schedule to open in the fall of 2013.
