GREENBACK — Firefighters are on the scene of a brush
fire along Axleys Chapel Road, a Loudon County 911 dispatcher said
this afternoon.Greenback Volunteer Fire
Department responded to the blaze after a series of hay bales caught
fire about a quarter of a mile from state Highway 95, according to
the dispatcher.
The fire started at about 3:35 p.m., she said.
