Greenback corn maze 'in season' Friday

Maple Lane Farms' corn maze and pumpkin patch will open to the public on Friday with the last day set for October 31.

 

(WBIR-Greenback) The corn looks much healthier this year at Maple Lane Farms in Blount County. Due to heavy rainfall, corn stalks boast a rich green color and reach 10-feet tall. The lush crop created a great palate for this year's corn maze design.

This year's maze features the ALCOA logo and the number "100" above the phrase "Tennessee Operations Centennial Anniversary".

MLF corn maze and pumpkin patch will open to the public on Friday with the last day set for October 31. The farm is open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and noon until 6 p.m. on Sundays.

A haunted corn maze is also planned for October 24-31.

The property is located in Greenback at 1040 Maple Lane.
