Loretta (Garner) Bradshaw, age 80 of Loudon, passed away Saturday, May 15th at her home with her family by her side. Loretta was born in Knoxville, TN to the late William and Louise (Smith) Garner. Loretta attended Farragut High School and graduated from Loudon High School. Loretta was a longtime member of Corinth Baptist Church.

She retired early from Union Carbide Corporation but not long after she decided to return to school to pursue a nursing degree. As a mother of three, she balanced home life and college courses all while standing by her husband in his American Legion activities. Upon graduating second in her class and receiving her LPN degree, she worked in various nursing home facilities having the longest tenure with Loudon Health Care and ultimately retiring from The Neighborhood at Tellico Village. In her spare time, she enjoyed transporting her kids and their friends to ball games and practices often arriving with a car full. She volunteered in numerous activities in the support of others, including the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary where she served as past-president. Loretta was a loving caring person with a servant’s heart. Loretta was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Loretta was preceded by her parents, two infant daughters and a stepdaughter, Sherri DeLoach. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Rollen D. Bradshaw; daughters, Karol Feezell, Lenoir City and Kami and Damien Galaba, Greenback; son and daughter-in-law, The Honorable Buddy and Elizabeth Bradshaw, Loudon; grandchildren, Matt Massengill, Jessica Bowden, Julie Justen, Alison Thompson, Trey Harper, Ashley Buscemi, Delan Bradshaw, Dane Bradshaw and Hope Magley; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Charles Garner, Seymour and Wayne and Charity Garner, Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews and her devoted canine companion, Riley.

Services honoring and remembering Loretta Bradshaw will be held 7:00 PM Thursday, May 20th, McGill Click Chapel with Rev. Adam Cook officiating.

Contributions in Loretta’s memory may be made to the Corinth Cemetery Fund, 6100 Corinth Church Rd, Loudon, TN 37774.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday prior to the service at McGill Click Funerals & Cremations, 1366 Hwy 72 N. Loudon
