OAK RIDGE - A Loudon County man found dead today in his fishing boat, adrift on Melton Hill Lake, apparently died of natural causes, Oak Ridge Police report.

Two other anglers found Dale Bradley Raby, no age listed, slumped over the steering wheel of his boat shortly before 11 a.m., Oak Ridge Police Department Capt. Rick Stone said.

The vessel was about a mile upstream of the Solway Boat Ramp and near Haw Ridge Park, Stone said.

The two fishermen helped emergency personnel locate the boat. Raby's body was taken to University of Tennessee Medical Center for an autopsy, according to a press release.

More details as they develop online and in Tuesday's News Sentinel.
