Fire Bugs
Apparently, contractors working on developer Tracy
Roy's property along Adessa Boulevard didn't think the open burn ban in
Lenoir City applied to them. Early Tuesday morning, contractor's lit a
large fire to get rid of their accumulated trees and stumps. The Lenoir
City Fire Department was promptly dispatched and the fire was put out.
It is unknown if fines were assessed. Obviously, some developers feel
the rules don't apply to them.
