Candidates And Causes

The upcoming Lenoir City election will boast a long list of candidates running for a short list of offices. Three mayor candidates for one seat, eight council candidates running for three seats and four candidates for three school board seats. Below are the list of candidates. Any candidate wishing to have their information included here, just send it to me.

The office of Treasurer/Recorder was decided after the deadline when Bobby Johnson Jr. was the only candidate to run for the office.

Also on the November ballot will again be the question of whether or not to allow liquor stores in Lenoir City and Loudon County. The question was defeated in Lenoir City and Loudon two years ago.

Election Day is November 4th. Early voting will be October 15-30.
