Early Voting Starts Friday

Early voting for the August 7th election begins this Friday. Loudon County has two early voting locations.In Lenoir City, early voting will take place at the Roane State Career Center on Broadway. In Loudon, at the election commission office in the county building.

Voting hours, Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Saturdays 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.

July 30th, 31st and August 1st will have extended hours of 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Those voting early will be using a new voting system. Voters will cast their votes on paper ballots that will be counted with optical scanner machines. This will be the first time the new voting system has been used in Loudon County.

Remember, if you don't vote, you can't complain.
